❤ "Oshitunda nOhedhi Oshilongo nOlukalwa lwalo". Hi there 😃. Allow me to give you a small glimpse of the Ovambo people. Found in the Northern part of Namibia are the Aawambo people. Oshiwambo culture is made up of plus-minus 7 tribes. The Ovambo people, also called Aawambo, ( Ndonga, Nghandjera, kwambi, Mbalantu), or Ovawambo (Kwanyama) the biggest of the Aawambo sub-tribes are Bantu ethnic group native to Southern Africa, primarily modern Namibia. They are Namibia's single largest ethnic group, accounting for roughly half of the population, and one of the country's most vibrant tribes. Despite concerted efforts by Christian missionaries to eradicate what were thought to be 'pagan practices,' they have retained many aspects of their cultural practices. They are also found in the southern Angolan province of Kunene, where they are known as "Ambo." The Ovambo are a group of Bantu ethnics who live in what was formerly known as Ovamboland. They are a
